Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today, I’m very excited to finally be able to unveil my new Savannah design! After a lot of hard work and tweaking, I’ve ultimately created something I’m really proud of and I hope I did the people of Savannah justice! It was very interesting to learn all about their city and try to pinpoint some important landmarks that define their culture. I also couldn’t help myself and had to include a little peach as a homage to Georgia! I’ve gotten some great reception from the people at the Cork House, so I’m now working on printing a bunch of coasters and hot pads to send down south.
I am also able to show you my final ad that was printed in the Oakville Beaver this week! This time around I was asked to make an ad centered around cork flooring but to also still showcase some of the other, more unheard of uses for cork. The stairs in the photo are a really popular part of the Cork House so I decided to include that as the defining feature. The Oakville Beaver is also conducting their annual contest for business in Oakville and the Cork House has been nominated again this year in the flooring category. If you live in Oakville and want to show your love for the Cork House and the Jelinek Cork Group, make sure to vote online!
With the completion of these last couple projects, I’ve realized how much my skills have already improved over the summer. I’m very grateful for the internship I have with the Cork House and the opportunity I’ve had to learn from real life experiences!
That wraps up everything for this week, see you next time and thank you for stopping by!
